Our Muslin Duck Swaddle Wrap is designed for the early days when softness, breathability, and ease matter most. Hand-painted in Australia and finished in gentle, calming tones, this swaddle is a beautiful everyday essential for newborns and babies, and a thoughtful choice for new baby gifts.

Made from soft organic cotton, it’s lightweight and breathable to help keep your baby snug without overheating. We’ve made this swaddle larger than standard, so it can be used well beyond the newborn stage. It works beautifully for swaddling, as a pram cover, for nursing, or as a light blanket when you’re out and about. As your little one grows, it can also be used as a light sheet.

    Our Story

    Fledge & Thread began with soft furnishings in 2021, when artist and designer Keren Elizabeth Fraser returned to painting (whilst on maternity leave) and started creating the pieces she couldn’t find anywhere else for her children. In 2023 we expanded our ranges into apparel, bedding and accessories for little ones.

    Every print starts as an original hand-painted artwork, then we bring it to life through our own pattern making and production, across baby and children’s apparel, bedding and accessories.

    How Long will my order take to ship?

    Orders are usually packed within 2 business days. You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your parcel is on its way 🪿

    Most styles are true to size with room to grow. If you’re between sizes, we usually recommend sizing up.

    We use soft Organic cotton and 100% Cotton, with almost all our products. Fabric details are also listed on each product page.
