Every Fledge & Thread design begins in our Perth studio, sketched by pencil, then hand-painted into the nostalgic, storybook prints you know so well. Occasionally, during printing, stitching, or final quality checks, a piece arrives with a little quirk that means it doesn’t meet our full-price standard.
These imperfections are typically cosmetic only. Think small marks, faint fabric scuffs, tiny print variations, or minor stitching quirks. They do not affect how the garment wears, washes, or functions, but they do mean we’ll list the item here as a Seconds piece so it can still be loved and lived in, rather than set aside.

- Same design, same care. Seconds are still Fledge & Thread pieces through and through, created from our original hand-illustrated artwork and made with the same attention to detail, just not quite “perfect” enough for full price.
