Sustainability
At Fledge & Thread, we believe that beautiful children's pieces should be made with love - for the little ones who wear them and the world they grow into.

Designed in Australia
Every Fledge & Thread product begins in our little studio in Perth, Australia, where we dream, draw and develop each piece with intention. From our hand-illustrated prints to our packaging, everything is designed in-house with storytelling, softness and sustainability in mind.
Gentle, Natural Materials
We use 100% organic cotton and 100% cotton yarns across our clothing and bedding collections. These natural fibres are breathable, soft on newborn skin and made without harmful chemicals - better for children and better for the planet.

Thoughtful, Ethical Production
We work closely with a small group of trusted makers - including long-term partners in China and independent artisans around the world. Whether it’s a core collection or a limited run piece, we take time to build genuine relationships and visit our suppliers (where possible), to ensure every product is made responsibly, safely and with care. We’re proud to know the people behind the pieces - and to support thoughtful craftsmanship at every step.
Supporting Makers Around the World
Where possible, we also source items from independent makers in Australia and around the world. These collaborations bring handcrafted beauty, diversity and artistry to our range - supporting creative communities and small-batch production.
Made to Last
Our designs are created not just for a moment, but for a memory. Each piece is made to be worn, washed and loved. We believe sustainability is just as much about quality and longevity as it is about materials - and we’re proud to make things worth keeping.

"Fledge & Thread began in the quiet moments of early motherhood - when the house was still, and our little girl, just four months old, drifted off to sleep. It was during those nights, that I picked up my paintbrush, searching for the perfect soft furnishings to bring warmth and nostalgia to our children’s rooms as we renovated their spaces."
