Every Fledge & Thread character begins with paint, pencil and paper.
Franklin, Winston and Teddy were first created by hand in our Perth studio, where their expressions, tiny details and gentle colours were slowly brought to life. The original artwork was then carefully developed into prints for our baby clothing and accessory collections.
Look closely and you may still notice the small variations that belong to the original painting. Those details are part of what gives each baby beanie, babygrow and bodysuit its character.
Rather than following a passing trend, our designs are made to feel familiar and story-filled, with the soft nostalgia at the heart of Fledge & Thread.
