A sentimental piece to pass down generations
With my first baby boy on the way, I knew I wanted to find nursery decor that were one of a kind, hand-crafted pieces that felt sentimental.
Once I saw the Bunny blanket, I immediately purchased, as it reminded me of my favourite show, Peter Rabbit, growing up. The piece is absolutely stunning in person, and it stirred up all sorts of emotions seeing my baby wrapped up in it. You really can feel the care and thought in every aspect of the design.
With my first baby boy on the way, I knew I wanted to fill his nursery with pieces that felt special—things that had meaning and could one day be passed down. I wasn’t just after pretty decor; I was looking for something with heart.
As soon as I saw the Bunny blanket, I bought it straight away. It reminded me of Peter Rabbit, my favourite show growing up, and something about it just felt right.
When it arrived, I was blown away. It’s even more beautiful in person—so soft, with the kind of detail that shows real care went into making it. The first time I wrapped my baby in it, I honestly got a bit teary. It brought back memories of my own childhood, and now here I was, creating new ones with him.
You can really feel the love in every stitch. It’s more than just a blanket—it’s something we’ll treasure for years to come.

Our Story
Fledge & Thread began with soft furnishings in 2021, when artist and designer Keren Elizabeth Fraser returned to painting (whilst on maternity leave) and started creating the pieces she couldn’t find anywhere else for her children. In 2023 we expanded our ranges into apparel, bedding and accessories for little ones.
Every print starts as an original hand-painted artwork, then we bring it to life through our own pattern making and production, across baby and children’s apparel, bedding and accessories.
Designed by hand in Perth, made for tiny beginnings.
