Our Story

Fledge & Thread began with soft furnishings in 2021, when artist and designer Keren Elizabeth Fraser returned to painting (whilst on maternity leave) and started creating the pieces she couldn’t find anywhere else for her children. In 2023 we expanded our ranges into apparel, bedding and accessories for little ones.

Every print starts as an original hand-painted artwork, then we bring it to life through our own pattern making and production, across baby and children’s apparel, bedding and accessories.

How do I choose the right size?

Most styles are true to size with room to grow. If you’re between sizes, we usually recommend sizing up.

What are your pieces made from and how do I care for them?

We use soft Organic cotton and 100% Cotton, with almost all our products. Fabric details are also listed on each product page.

For best care: gentle cold wash and line dry to keep prints looking beautiful 🪿
