Our Story

Fledge & Thread began with soft furnishings in 2021, when artist and designer Keren Elizabeth Fraser returned to painting (whilst on maternity leave) and started creating the pieces she couldnโ€™t find anywhere else for her children. In 2023 we expanded our ranges into apparel, bedding and accessories for little ones.

Every print starts as an original hand-painted artwork, then we bring it to life through our own pattern making and production, across baby and childrenโ€™s apparel, bedding and accessories.

Most styles are true to size with room to grow. If youโ€™re between sizes, we usually recommend sizing up.

What are your pieces made from and how do I care for them?

We use soft Organic cotton and 100% Cotton, with almost all our products. Fabric details are also listed on each product page.
